Assumptions, rounding, and limits

  • Inputs are official non-negative whole-number totals.
  • At least one game is included.
  • No game contributes more than 300 pins.
  • League eligibility and minimum-game rules are not evaluated.

Frequently asked questions

Is the whole-pin average rounded?

No. The fractional part is dropped for the displayed whole-pin figure.

Can one game exceed 300?

Not in standard ten-pin scoring, so impossible totals are rejected.

Will this establish a league average?

It calculates the arithmetic result only; governing-body rules may impose additional requirements.
