About Equatara
Clear answers you can check
Equatara is building a growing global library of transparent calculators. The goal is simple: give people a useful answer quickly, then make the method, units, assumptions, examples, limitations, and sources easy to inspect.
What we do differently
- Deterministic, versioned calculations with known-answer and edge-case tests
- Plain-language formulas and original worked examples
- Visible assumptions, rounding rules, limitations, and verification dates
- Risk-based evidence and independent specialist review where required
- Mobile-first, accessible interfaces with no account required for basic calculations
- Private-by-default handling of calculator inputs wherever practical
Who Equatara is for
We design for students and teachers, households, freelancers, small businesses, and—after the necessary specialist review—professionals. English is the launch language; complete human-reviewed Bangla pages are planned after the English workflow is stable.
A growing library, released carefully
Our ambition is broad calculator coverage, but we do not publish thousands of unreviewed pages merely to increase page count. Each indexable page must solve a distinct task and pass formula, evidence, content, accessibility, privacy, technical, and search-quality gates.
Limits
Equatara is not a substitute for medical, legal, tax, financial, engineering, or other qualified professional advice. Each calculator explains its own scope and important limitations.
