Understand the limits of every result

Equatara calculators are informational tools. They explain a defined calculation, but they cannot know every fact, rule, contract, or circumstance that may affect your decision.

Results are estimates or model outputs

A result depends on the values entered and the displayed formula, units, assumptions, rounding, effective date, jurisdiction, and exclusions. Small changes in those factors can change the answer. Examples demonstrate the method and are not predictions or personal recommendations.

Not professional or emergency advice

Equatara does not provide medical, legal, tax, accounting, investment, credit, insurance, engineering, safety, or other individualized professional advice. Do not delay emergency help or ignore an official instruction because of a calculator result. Confirm high-stakes decisions with the relevant authority or qualified professional.

Sources and rules can change

We version formulas and record verification dates, but laws, rates, standards, datasets, guidance, and external sources may change after review. A calculator page states its applicable period where relevant. An expired or disputed tool may be disabled, archived, or made noindex while it is reviewed.

Check the calculator-specific limits

This general disclaimer does not replace the assumptions and warnings on each calculator. Read the result interpretation, calculation steps, included and excluded factors, rounding, source, formula version, and verification date before relying on the output.

Links to source organizations or other websites help users verify information. Equatara does not control those sites or guarantee their continued availability, accuracy, security, or privacy practices.

Report suspected errors

If something looks wrong, stop relying on the result and follow the correction process. Include the page and reproducible issue, but do not send sensitive calculator values.
