Frequently asked questions
Do walks count as at-bats?
Use the official at-bat total; not every plate appearance is an at-bat.
Why display .250 instead of 25%?
Baseball convention expresses batting average as a three-decimal ratio.
Can hits exceed at-bats?
No. Such input is rejected because every official hit occurs within an official at-bat.
